Mixed Berry & Ginger Happy Gut Smoothie

Smoothies are nutritious and can be a great breakfast on the run. Ginger is one of the most healthiest and delicious spices. Ginger can treat nausea, especially morning sickness, indigestion, menstrual pain and can reduce muscle pain and soreness. It is also an anti-inflammatory that can help fight infections and help with osteoarthritis.


Ingredients:
  • 1 cup spinach or kale
  • Handful of mixed berries
  • 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 nub grated fresh ginger
  • Probiotic powder (as instructions)
  • 1/2 cup ice
Method:  Blend everything together until frothy and smooth. Enjoy!
