Banana & Chocolate Delight

My delicious banana and chocolate smoothie can be a quick breakfast or a filling snack. Cocoa helps to reduce inflammation and can help protect from diseases such as heart disease, diabetes and cancer. While, Manuka honey is loaded with antioxidants that can make your skin look younger and brighter. 

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1/2 cup strawberries 
  • 1 tablespoon good quality cocoa powder 
  • 1/2 teaspoon Manuka honey 
  • 1/2 cup low fat milk (cow, soy, almond or rice)  
  • 1/2 cup ice
Method:  Blend everything together until frothy and smooth. Enjoy!
