Yogurt, Chia Seed & Passion Fruit Bowl

Chia seeds are very high in fibre, antioxidants, minerals and omega-3 fatty acids. Passion fruit can help in relieving anxiety and treating mild insomnia. Passion fruit is rich in minerals like magnesium, calcium, iron, phosphorous, potassium and sodium.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup black, white or mixed chia seeds
  • 3/4 cup water or coconut water (you can make it with cow's milk, coconut or almond milk)
  • 3 tablespoons Greek natural yogurt 
  • 1 passion fruit 
Method:
  1. In a container mix chia seeds into water or milk.
  2. Store in an airtight container overnight.
  3. To serve, put 2 tablespoons of chia pudding into a bowl add 3 tablespoons of yogurt and fresh passion fruit. 
Serving suggestions; 
  • If you want a pudding like consistency soak chia seeds overnight in plain Greek yogurt. 
  • Add honey, agave syrup or maple syrup. (I find it sweet enough without). 
  • Try a variety of fruit like, peach, mango, banana or mixed berries.
